The Point is a $175 million dollar development bringing new commercial and residential opportunities to the Fenway area. The development site is a triangular parcel at the intersection of Boylston Street, Brookline Avenue, and Park Drive.

Designed by Arquitectonica, a Miami-based architect, the glass and terra cotta building will include a 33,000-square-foot, two-story retail base with 320 residential units above (apartments and condominiums ranging from studios to three-bedroom units).

Residents at The Point may venture to the tower’s roof and enjoy the outdoor terrace and pool, or explore the green roof on the third level above the retail space. Parking is not an issue for residents as spaces are available just next door at the Trilogy building, reducing the usual congestion of cars in Fenway.

The project is led by Peter Sougarides, executive vice president of development at Samuels & Associates. Sougarides believes that The Point is a key element in the revitalization of the Fenway area and surrounding neighborhoods. Once complete, The Point will provide a currently inexistent pedestrian connection to Fenway Park, Landmark Center, the Emerald Necklace, and Longwood Medical Area. The Point will become a central destination for residents and visitors alike, breathing new life into the urban scene.
